Winter Fun

My wife had a small problem this weekend --- decided to slide off the road into a ditch. No one was hurt but the car. Guess we'll be looking for a new in the next week or two. Winter sure has its ways for having fun. I'd rather be flying. Sure looking forward to spring and summer.

Flying at Creve Core Airport

Just another day at Creve Core Airport. You just never know who will come up on your "6". You know those L4's, always trying to show off. We plane on doing a lot of flying together this year.  

New Year 2006

Well its the start of a new year. Not too much has been happening but looking forward to flying and meeting new friends. The L16 should be ready, hope to get thru this years annual quickly -- limited projects I hope. Anyway, just spif it up, kick the tires and fly. That's all for now, but will try and post updates weekly. Keep'm flying.

Light Winds at Fly-In 

Start of a new Flying Year

Tomorrow, Pat Devine and myself start the annual on our Aeronca. We will also be installing a new S-Tech Starter and hopefully a new Alternator. That will happen only if I can get FAA approval via field modification on a 337. But you know how that goes, never can tell. So here's hopping. Anyway, lots to do and now that warm weather is here, hope to get it done soon. If things go well plan on flying to the "Coupes, cubs and Aeroncas Fly-In at Pioneer Field, Oshkosh, Wisconsin April 30th.

I plan on posting updates on how things are progressing and any problems we encounter.

This is my first try in the world of Blog's. I will be decating this Blog to flying my Aeronca. Later on I will post the history of my L16a and the fun I have had retoring and flying this plane. I will also pass along ideals on flying and working to keep planes like these going. Always open to ideals and comments on Aeronca's.
